The verdict

What we thought

Ittihad Sweets is a true Hidden Gem in Aley.

The éclair is genuinely amazing, with a delicious cream and fantastic value at just $1. But the Baklawa Ashta is the real discovery.

The contrast between the super-crunchy baklawa rolls and the incredibly good ashta cream makes it something completely different. It feels like a new dessert concept that deserves to become a trend. It's creative, extremely tasty and dangerously addictive.

At $11/kg, combined with outstanding taste and value for money, the Baklawa Ashta alone makes Ittihad Sweets worth discovering.

Priced at $11/kg. This is something from another universe. Super-crunchy, super-tasty baklawa rolls combined with an ashta cream that is absolutely to die for. It feels like a genuinely new creation that deserves to become a trend. Unique, incredibly addictive and one of those items you have to experience at least once.

A genuinely amazing éclair, especially for only $1. The cream is the highlight: rich, delicious and extremely satisfying. A simple classic done very well and with excellent value for money.
