What we thought
Sandwich Karim is the kind of place you order from when you want a proper Lebanese sandwich, want to get full, and don’t want to spend much.
The real star is the frangi bread. It’s extremely tasty, with a beautiful contrast between the crunchy exterior and soft interior, and it makes a big difference across the entire sandwich lineup.
The fillings are also very generous, so these don’t feel like cheap sandwiches despite the $4 price point. The Rosto and Djej Msahhab were particular standouts, but the biggest takeaway is the combination of satisfying portions, great bread and excellent value.
For $4 per sandwich, Sandwich Karim delivers exactly what you want from this kind of spot: tasty Lebanese sandwiches, generous fillings, a satisfying meal and very little damage to your wallet.
