The verdict
What we thought
Tirano was a mixed experience. The Philadelphia Beef was the clear standout — it was super amazing and easily our favorite sandwich of the trial. The mozzarella sticks were also super yummy.
The Tandoori, however, was lacking in spices and overall taste. Considering Tirano's slogan is "The Origin of Tandoori," we expected this sandwich to be one of their strongest items, so we definitely think they should focus more on it.
The Chili Chicken was neutral for us and didn't really stand out in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the fries were the biggest disappointment. They had a very strong smell and taste of heavily used frying oil, which significantly affected the experience.
Overall, there are definitely some very good items at Tirano, especially the Philadelphia Beef and mozzarella sticks, but the experience was inconsistent across the different dishes we tried.
